As part of our disability management services, we provide customized goal-attainment programs to build activity tolerance in a safe and collaborative manner. This program is appropriate for improving mental health in conjunction with counselling or for chronic pain management to reclaim function.
Shorten the duration of disability claims by ensuring appropriate services are established. We help return the individual to function and employability. Case Management is a collaborative process of assessments, planning, facilitation and advocacy for options and services to meet the disabled worker’s needs and to promote a safe and timely return-to-work.
If an individual is unable to resume their regular occupation, a transferable skills analysis will identify suitable alternate occupations that are within the individual’s education, training, experience and functional abilities.
We provide a variety of services to individuals with disabling conditioning to enter, stay or return to the workforce. We provide customized return to work programs to individuals and conduct meetings with all stakeholders to discuss respective roles and responsibilities to an effective return to work and function. This includes providing clarification on restrictions, determining accommodations/identifying available work options, developing and monitoring a graduated return to work plan, and performing discharge planning.
CVP services is a combination of comprehensive file review and in-person assessments with the client to identify suitable employment options. This includes a labour market analysis on potential occupations thought to be reasonably suitable for clients. The analysis assists with identifying employment options that meet the requirements in skills, education, functional ability and job availability within their region.
These programs commence when an individual is considered to be ready for re-entry into the workforce and requires assistance to secure employment. Job search assistance is tailored to the needs of each individual and may include some of the following components: resume and cover letter development, identification of client’s skills and work options, interview coaching, outreach to potential employers or employment-related opportunities, computer training, disclosure of disability, job seeking skills training, and support for employment maintenance.
Through counselling, goal-attainment and activation, we work with the individual to improve recovery outcomes with a collaborative approach to mental health.
