Melisa Joyal CVRP(F) TSA, RRP, BPsych Rehabilitation Consultant and Disability Management Consultant

Melisa Joyal

B.A. Psych, MBA, CVRP(F) TSA, RTWDM, RRP

Rehabilitation Consultant, CEO

Melisa is a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional fellow CVRP(F) with TSA credentials as well as a Return to Work Disability Management Professional and Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) through Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada. She is PGAP certified and has experience creating customized rehabilitation programs for individuals with mental illness and/or chronic pain. Melisa has taken a wide range of courses relating to chronic pain management and mental health. Melisa started her career in the insurance industry as a Disability Case Manager and has been a Rehabilitation Consultant for 12 years providing a rage of disability management and employment services. She has a special interest in chronic pain programs and improving function in those facing chronic pain conditions.

Adam Nicota

Disability Management Consultant, Chief Operating Officer

Adam began his career in disability management and rehabilitation consulting in 2006 after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Labour Studies at McMaster University. He further advanced his professional qualifications by obtaining designations as a Compensation Management Specialist and a Certified Disability Management Professional.

With extensive experience in both private and public sectors, Adam excels in Short and Long Term disability case management. His areas of expertise also include sales and marketing, where he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision.

Adam is passionate about helping individuals reclaim their lives after being off work, consistently delivering exemplary service to his clients. He is known for his innovative, outside-the-box solutions that ensure a timely and successful return to work. Through his dedication and expertise, Adam has built a reputation for excellence in disability management and client care.

Kaitlin Wolfe

MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker, Disability Management Consultant

Kaitlin holds a Master of Social Work degree from Waterloo University and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Dalhousie University. Currently based in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, she was born and raised along the beautiful coast of Nova Scotia. With years of experience as a dedicated social worker, Kaitlin has worked with diverse populations, including vulnerable individuals, military personnel, veterans and their spouses, teenagers, and young adults.

​As a military spouse, mother of two, and passionate advocate for social justice, Kaitlin understands the complex social factors that can impact mental health. She believes in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges. Her approach is collaborative and compassionate, ensuring that each client’s unique needs are heard and respected. Together, you’ll create an individualized treatment plan to support your mental health goals.

​Kaitlin has experience addressing a wide range of concerns, including perinatal mental health, depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, relapse prevention, and suicidal ideation. She offers specialized treatments for substance use disorders related to alcohol, opioids, cannabis, tobacco, and stimulants. Her therapeutic practice draws from evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Unified Protocol, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

​Currently pursuing certification as a Perinatal Mental Health Clinician through Postpartum Support International, Kaitlin is also expanding her expertise in trauma-related disorders and couples counseling.

Amy-Rae Cuzzetto

BHK, R.Kin, CN

Kinesiologist, Nutritionist, & Rehabilitation Consultant

Amy-Rae Cuzzetto, is a Rehabilitation Consultant with her Bachelor of Human Kinetics, where she double majored with Clinical Exercise Physiology and Health Promotion, and minored in Psychology from UBC-O. She started her Kinesiology career by personal training for a number of years, and over the past year has been focused on clinical and rehabilitation. Her scope of practice includes, musculoskeletal and range of motion assessments, strength and rehabilitation exercise programs (e.g. programs from rheumatoid arthritis, post-surgery exercise, osteoporosis, deconditioning, etc.), and individual specific nutritional guidance and coaching. In her free time, Amy-Rae enjoys lots of hiking, dirt biking, hunting, camping, and fishing.
